Working Virtually

I worked in the corporate world for 12 years prior to starting my Virtual Assistant business and taking the plunge to work from home, avoiding the crazy Southern California commute…and I’ve never looked back! Working virtually has allowed me to live an almost ideal life and to be there for my family. But working virtually isn’t for everyone. Is it for you?

Do you work well on your own? Can you set your priorities and get them done? Would you get lonely without the daily interaction of co-workers? Do you have a skillset that you could turn into a viable business? Do you have the business sense to actually RUN the business (think accounting, marketing, networking, etc…)?

Do you have the equipment necessary to start this business? Do you have an office space or other suitable area to run the business from? If not, do you have the start up capital to make it all happen?

And most importantly…do you have the drive? The drive to wake up every morning and just dive in to do the hard, yet enjoyable work, as well as to put in the effort daily to grow your business? It all comes down to drive and ambition and desire…do you have what it takes?
